Yesterday Sunn O))) opened up its live bootleg Bandcamp page, which currently features a whopping 67 bootlegs of the band playing live from 2002 to 2015. All the songs are titled "01" on each record because the group takes a fairly improvisational tone to each show, so coming up with names now would probably just be forced and rightfully silly.
I've never had the luxury of seeing the group live, so this is a cool peek into the show! Assuming the performances are a million times more powerful than this basketful of well-recorded samples, and I'm sure they are, I think I would just shit my entire skeleton out involuntarily due to the bass frequencies… and that is exactly how I want to die anyway.
So go ahead and throw your money at Sunn O))) once more until that new studio album comes out this year.
