Get Down And Dirty With R.I.P.'s New Song "Unmarked Grave"

It's like if Black Sabbath were a gritty punk band, though still with its riffs.

It's like if Black Sabbath were a gritty punk band, though still with its riffs.

From the depths of Portland, OR comes R.I.P. A self-proclaimed "street doom" band, we'd have to agree with that assertion wholeheartedly, and you'll see why after jamming on our premiere of "Unmarked Grave" below. R.I.P. nails down that slower heaviness of classic doom bands, yet bares its teeth like a punk band – hence, street doom.

Not to mention vocalist Fuzz sounds like what I'd imagine Jello Biafra would've sounded like should he have grown up in Birmingham and joined Black Sabbath. R.I.P. will release its new album Street Reaper on October 13 via Riding Easy Records, which you can pre-order here.
