It seems like only yesterday Six Feet Under released Unborn but it was actually two years ago. Holy crap, does time fly. In that time, Chris Barnes was, no doubt, smoking copious amounts of weed and gearing up to release a new album.

Six Feet Under will release Crypt Of The Devil on May 5th via Metal Blade Records.

Interestingly enough, all the music was composed by frontman Chris Barnes and Cannabis Corpse bassist/vocalist Phil "Landphil" Hall. The two met while touring last year. It's no secret how much Hall enjoys Barnes' work as his band, Cannabis Corpse basically started in tribute to Cannibal Corpse, Barnes old band. Hall recorded the album in his home studio in Virginia, with Phil's brother Josh tracking drums and guitarist Brandon Ellis doing most of the leads. The album was mixed by Rob Caldwel and mastered by Alan Douches.

Not to leave the fans empty handed with this announcement, the band revealed their first single, "Open Coffin Orgy." You can listen below.

Pre-order the album on Metal Blade's official website.
