Nidingr, whose lineup includes Mayhem guitarist Teloch and God Seed bassist-turned-guitarist Sir, will be releasing its first album in five years come February 10. The High Heat Licks Against Heaven, released by Season of Mist, is 10 tracks long and features artwork from Valnoir (Watain, The Black Dahlia Murder, etc.).
Today, we get to premiere the mouthful of a song titled "Heimdalargaldr." The song seems almost ritualistic in a way, given its chanted sections followed by a reverence-like silence. It's a heavy track for sure, but there's more to it than just that – the ebb and flow is really what makes this song, for me at least.
