Canada's kings of post-metal doom, Loviatar, are about to release their epic new self titled EP, and it's filled with tons of catchy grooves!
The first track of the release is called "Stygian Wyrm", which is a giant track broken down into 3 parts, and we're stoked to bring you part two of this epic song. If you're a fan of thunderous drums, catchy guitar riffing, and soaring vocal melodies, then Loviatar has your jam of the day!
The band comments on the track:
"Discordant" is the second movement of the Stygian Wyrm trilogy, and an exercise in non-linear storytelling. The first part of the song focuses on a wealthy lord who sacrifices his lands, subjects and family to the death goddess for the promise of glory and purpose. The latter half of the song inserts itself into the narrative of "Nascent," continuing the dragon's story.
