Capture the Crown released this new song called "Rebearth." Why is there a reference to a bear in the title, you ask? Mainly because you'll want a bear to come crashing through your walls and maul you to death when you hit play.
I sat here and listened to this song twice and really tried hard to think of something nice to say. The extent of "nice" I got our of myself was to admit that it definitely existed and there really wasn't anything good on television at the moment. It's not that it's a "bad" song I guess, but more along the lines of it's so unoriginal it hurts a little bit. Super polished, electronica-based themes that break into rhythmic djenty whateverness, clean vocal chorus, lyrics about politics or heartbreak and originality and standing out in the world or whatever (I wasn't paying attention to them all too much, really)… blah blah blah. Nothing new here. Hey, listen and make up your mind and call bullshit on me in the comments section if you think differently, but I'm bored to tears over here.
