Avenged Sevenfold has contributed three pieces of instrumental music to the appear in the new Call of Duty game, Call of Duty: Black Ops III, all of which comprise a score called "Jade Helm." The band has taken to YouTube to post up the song in full and honestly, I'm really surprised at how heavy it is. It's a little less radio-rock riff driven a lot more chugs than I expected!
If anything, it sounds like the band's earlier work rather than stuff like Nightmare… which is really interesting. Here's hoping this is a new direction for the group? Well, a new-old direction anyway.
