DYSRHYTHMIA's "Internal/Eternal" Is A Frantic, Non-Stop Barrage Of Notes

"Internal/Eternal" has plenty of mind-bending moments and still comes off as though it were written by folks who know damn well what they're doing… because they do.

It's been four years since Dysrhythmia, the band consisting of bassist Colin Marston (Gorguts, Krallice, Behold The Arctopus), guitarist Kevin Hufnagel (Gorguts, ex-While Heaven Wept), and drummer Jeff Eber (ex-Readyset), has put out a new record. Fortunately, 2016 sees the end to that rather unbearable streak, and in a big way – the band's first single is amazing.

Instru-metal is inherently a hard genre to nail down and still be interesting. If your writing isn't good, the music is just boring as hell, no matter how many solos and "look at me!" moments there are. That being said, "Internal/Eternal" has plenty of mind-bending moments and still comes off as though it were written by folks who know damn well what they're doing… because they do.

The Veil Of Control is out on September 23 via Profound Lore.
