I am completely floored by this new project from Between The Buried and Me bassist Dan Briggs called Trioscapes. It also features Walter Fancourt (tenor saxophone/flute) and Matt Lynch (drums)…that's right, no guitars, and yet this still rocks my pants off. First off, the drums are insane, the bass licks are infectious. I'm literally on my third listen as I write this post. These guys started out jamming for fun, and then realized they had something and decided to make a full record. Their debut release, Separate Realities will be available May 8th in North America and May 7th in Europe via Metal Blade. Get into it!
