REFUSED's Music Video For "Dawkins Christ" Is A Propaganda Video From the 1960's

Hardcore punk! Slayer references! Dawkins!

Refused has been absolutely killing it with the promotion of its new record Freedom, out June 30, and continue to do so with the 1960's looking music video for "Dawkins Christ." It's got a very terror-inducing feel to it without actually being scary- there's just this underlying notion that that's what it is.

The band had this to say about the song.

The title [Dawkins Christ] refers to the famous biologist whose atheist theology has inspired a semi-cult who in turn sees him as a messianic figure, an irony that partly inspired the lyrics. The music draws from the film scores of Hans Zimmer and Ennio Morricone as well as pre-Reign in blood Slayer.

Slayer and Hans Zimmer makes this? Well then everyone needs to do that math more often, because that equation clearly produces excellent results!
