When certain styles are created, inspired artists inevitably follow. In this case, it seems that Incipience are heavily influenced by the likes of Animals as Leaders. Although the similarities are clear, I find this new band also exploring contemporaries such as Plini, Polyphia, and other instrumental shred/djenters in their music. The Los Angeles-based act consists of guitarist/string thumper Ando San Washington along with drummer Jordan McWethy. The duo is also accompanied by guitarist Milco in the live setting.
Just recently, the group opened up for Tony MacAlpine and Felix Martin at Hollywood's Whisky a Go Go where they filmed a live video for their first music video. You can check out Incipience's video for the title track off their EP, Bloom.
