Gone Is Gone, the new project featuring Mastodon's Troy Sanders on bass/vocals, Queens Of The Stone Age's Troy Van Leeuwen on guitar, and At The Drive-Indrummer Tony Hajjar and guitarist/keyboardist Mike Zarin, will be releasing Echolocation on January 6.

The band is currently streaming the track "Gift" above, with some pretty VHS-looking visuals. The music isn't half bad either, though I wish the choruses hit a little harder than they do. Oh well, I'll still grab this when it's out.
