GONE IS GONE (MASTODON, Etc.) Drops Super Creepy Video For "Echolocation"

Featuring punks, carnies, Florida, and death.

Gone Is Gone, the project featuring Mastodon's Troy Sanders on bass/vocals, Queens Of The Stone Age's Troy Van Leeuwen on guitar, and At The Drive-In drummer Tony Hajjar and guitarist/keyboardist Mike Zarin, dropped its debut album earlier this year and is back to creep you right the fuck out now.

The band's video for "Echolocation" is essentially its own short film that includes punks, carnies, and some untimely deaths. The video was written, produced, directed and edited by Newmerica Media and filmed at Silver Scream FX Lab studios in Conley, GA, and Sanders offers an explanation as to what you're seeing.

The video is inspired by Gibsonton, Florida, the famous wintering and retirement home of traveling sideshow carnies. That’s the backdrop for this cautionary tale about two punks out on an adventure ride. Through a series of events, the mischievous energy they exert returns full circle, eventually leading to their own demise.
