Driving Mrs. Satan dropped an album called Popscotch last August where the band covered metal songs penned by Metallica, Helloween, Iron Maiden, Slayer and a whole bunch of others. Usually I'm down for these weird covers and all, but this one just doesn't sit well with me. It seems like it's too "try hard" in terms of being out there and bubble gum poppy… I don't know, this one just wasn't for me.
What's your thoughts on it? I'm really interested to see if anyone else digs this or if people aren't feeling it like myself.
