BLINDFOLDED AND LED TO THE WOODS' Song & Video For "Meth Tooth" Is Extremely Violent
Blindfolded And Led To The Woods doesn't sound like it would be a band that's anything but heavy, and you'd be correct in assuming that. Especially after watching the bloody, drug-fueled video for "Meth Tooth," which involves the drug in question, biting your own flesh off, and a bit of cocaine to round things out. As for the idea behind the song, the band notes:
"The video and lyrical themes follow a young dental nurse who has a palette for inducing the crushed, rotten, meth teeth that are extracted from her patients. This touches on the cyclic nature of dependence and also illuminates the symbiosis and codependency of one human to another despite our obvious differences. Director, Adam Penfold and his team worked hard to give breath to the lyrical theme and in our opinion, Adam managed to do this in a way that represents the band's culture of humor, color, and unadulterated brutality."
Modern Adoxography is out October 13, and you can pre-order that here. Catch the band with The Dillinger Escape Plan:
