Album Review: BOSSE-DE-NAGE All Fours 4/21/15

The post black metal scene is something I get on only a few levels. I see the draw, the more picturesque beauty that the scene carries itself with, lead headstrong by Deafheaven, whether they want that responsibility or not. Bosse-de-Nage is certainly carving their own way in the scene themselves; pushing a heavy, daunting sound layered with plenty of the post rock , showgaze and ambiance that follows in the genre.

Noisem is a band that some took to and some didn't quite get when they released their PhD grade banger Agony Defined. Album Review: OBITUARY Inked in Blood

Obituary is releasing their latest moldering chunk of sonic grave-soil via Relapse Records. Entitled Inked in Blood, the new one began officially embalming Eustachian tubes on October 28th, 2014. Album Review: ACRANIA Totalitary Dystopia

What does this four piece band have going for them that sets them apart from this already abundant genre? This answer can be summed up with a few distinctions, but it would be heresy to not speak of the vocals as the most skull cracking, turbine mutilating, flesh evaporating force that has been heard in some time.
