Album Review: HATEBREED The Concrete Confessional

Posted by | May 24, 2016

Characteristically brief at 33 minutes, the 13 songs here provide more consistent predictability with a renewed focus on anthemic, uptempo numbers combining brisk rhythmic tempo with catchy riffs that segue effortlessly between hardcore and thrash, with the occasional nod to 90's groove metal a la Pantera or Machine Head.

Album Review: FLESHGOD APOCALYPSEKing

Fleshgod Apocalypse has primarily been a death metal act with a heavy influence of classical music. In doing this, opera vocals are regularly incorporated, as well as string instruments. All of this is to say, your average metal listener would most likely enjoy this far more than your average classical music connoisseur.
