This 156/SILENCE Song Will Hit You Like A Ton Of Bricks

If you are a fan of in-your-fucking-face hardcore, then look no further than 156/Silence.

This Pittsburgh-based hardcore quartet have only gotten heavier since their 2015 debut Unrequited, Unrefuted, And Undeniably: I'm Alone, which was already pretty heavy itself.

Their follow-up, 2016's And Everything Was Beautiful, saw the band expanding more into hardcore punk reminiscent of The Chariot and Defeater. "Turmoil," however, is almost more akin to Gaza than Defeater.

According to the band's Facebook page, 156/Silence is set to enter the studio next month at Bricktop Recording in Chicago and is said to be "the heaviest work (they've) ever done."

Considering the bands that have recorded at Bricktop, like Weekend Nachos; Harm's Way and Veil of Maya, the next album is on track to be the band's most formidable attempt at catapulting themselves into the national hardcore scene.
