Voivod recently said they were releasing a new album called The Wake sometime this September, but now we've got the full details. The Wake is out on September 21 and was recorded and mixed by Francis Perron, who also recorded and mixed Voivod's previous two splits with At The Gates and Napalm Death in 2015.
The artwork was, as usual, done by drummer Michel "Away" Langevin and is super weird. The Wake is seven tracks long and you can hear Voivod play the new song "Obsolete Beings" live in what appears to be a warehouse here.
