Death Grips is pretty unconventional is just about everything they do, and their follow-up to 2016's The Bottomless Pit surely seems that way as well. While not many details are known right now, Death Grips has posted on their Facebook that they've teamed up with Tool bassist Justin Chancellor for the new album.
I guess Chancellor's parts for the new Tool album are done then? Though Death Grips is based out of Sacramento, California, and Tool is in the studio in California as well, so maybe he's just down there for the day.
