When I write the name Danny Marianino, your first thought is to go "who?" but then if I mentioned oh, the guy from the Northside Kings who knocked Danzig on his ass, you'd go "oh, that guy!" Well, that guy is using his 15th minute of fame to finally cash in with the tell-all expose we've (not at all) been waiting for. Apparently, this knockout has caused Marianino to get a ton of hatemail and negative comments, so why not profit off of that? It's not like people are jumping for a Northside Kings tour. Here is the amazing, grammatically incorrect press release announcing the book (emphasis mine):
Since the altercation between Glenn Danzig and Danny Marianino in 2004, Danny has been saving and collection a slew of hate mail, derogatory posts on blogs and messages that are so ridiculous it will blow your mind. Finally, some of the best bullshit following this event has been compiled into an amusing book detailing the events leading up and after a bad decision on both sides escaladed. Don't Ever Punch a Rockstar profiles a regular guys journey in music and learning to shrug off one of the most opinionated events in music history.
Who is giving this dude negative feedback? Everybody I know laughs at the event, and how it "escaladed," does that mean that Marianino invited Danzig back to his Cadillac after the punch? I guess we'll have to read the book to find out!
