Soen has been kicking all types of progressive ass since their 2012 record Cognitive, so obviously it's a very exciting prospect that the group has announced their new record Tellurian to be out November 4 via Spinefarm Records! The group features Martin Lopez, formerly of Opeth, on drums and vocalist Joel Ekelöf of Willowtree, in the event you weren't aware. Oh, did I mention the artwork for the album is super trippy? Check it out!
Here's the one thing of concern regarding the record- the picture I pulled of the band was updated yesterday from the band's Facebook. The picture is noticeably lacking bassist Steve DiGiorgio of basically every metal band that matters ever (Sadus, Testament, etc.). Some sites have him listed as a current member while others have him listed as a former member, so we'll see I guess.
