SEPTICFLESH Enlists The Filmharmonic Orchestra Of Prague For Its New Album

Just like the last three albums.

Just like the last three albums.

Septicflesh recording a new album isn't just as simple as the band hitting the studio. Since 2008's Communion, Septicflesh has worked with The Filmharmonic Orchestra Of Prague on recording all the orchestral bits for its album live, and the new one is more of the same.

The recordings will take place on December 18 and 19, while the band themselves will be recording at Fascination Street Studios in Orebro, Sweden with producer Jens Bogren (Amon Amarth, Opeth).

Personally, I'm hoping the new one lives up to 2011's The Great Mass. Titan wasn't a bad record, but coming off Communion and The Great Mass, it just didn't grab me as much. The new one will also be the band's first with drummer Kerim "Krimh" Lechner (Krimh, ex-Decapitated), who replaced Fotis Benardo in 2014.
