Overkill released The Grinding Wheel in February 2017 and they're wasting zero time in working on the follow-up. Jason Bittner, whose drumming you know from Shadows Fall and Flotsam And Jetsam, posted on his Facebook that Overkill is currently working through the pre-production phase of their new album. This will be Overkill's first album with Bittner on drums after Ron Lipnicki exited the band after 12 years in 2017.
In the meantime, Overkill will release their live album Live In Overhausen (not a typo) on May 18, which was recorded at Turbinenhalle 2 in Oberhausen, Germany.
