San Fransisco's NAME has been at it since 1999, wielding their chaotic brand of mathy hardcore and pummeling breakdowns. They have now returned with news of their first release in 7 years, and by the sound of it, a lot has changed in that time.

NAME has announced the upcoming full length release, You Are Mostly Nowhere, which will be available on November 3rd. The band has also dropped the track “Ode to the Colossus: The Giant of Circumstance” off the album. Right away, you can sense the maturity of the band's new offering, showing a completely different, and mostly epic, side of their writing. Bassist, Jeremy Fareas, comments on the album:

"There's nothing left to lose". This is the foundation for, "You Are Mostly Nowhere" name's follow up to the trio's 2010 frenetic opus, "Internet Killed the Audio Star". A lot has changed in 7 years. The record reflects a shift in harnessing the controlled chaos from the group's previous work and focusing it on a massive sounding endeavor. "We wanted to sound as if the band were a huge ensemble and not just a 3 piece group, trying to push the sonic landscapes until they were bursting at the seams."
