We're really excited to hear what Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison has in store for us with Scar The Martyr. The band, also consisting of former Darkest Hour guitarist Kris Norris, former Strapping Young Lad guitarist Jed Simon, keyboardist Chris Vrenna (Nine Inch Nails), and vocalist Henry Derek, released their first video teaser today, which gave us some hints as to what the music will sound like.
This was certainly a bit more revealing than the first teaser the band released but we still don't have a full grasp on the sound of the music. Will it be industrial driven, Swedish melodic-death-metal driven? I guess we'll have to wait and see.
Scar The Martyr's debut release is expected sometime this fall through Roadrunner Records.
