HIGH ON FIRE sign to Koch, reveal plans for final Relapse release

Oakland-based stoner metal gods High on Fire have announced that they'll be releasing their next studio album on Koch Records (In Flames, Hatebreed) sometime in 2009. Until then, we can occupy ourselves with a live album, the band's final release for Relapse, recorded from the 2003 Contamination Festival. The appropriately-titled Live From The Relapse Contamination Festival is set for release January 6. Particularly baiting are the cover of Venom's "Witching Hour," plus the fact that High on Fire tears it up live.
