Falconer Armod CD

Falconer gear up fans for their 7th studio album Armod by releasing their first single Svarta Ãnkan. The track is entirely sung in Swedish as are the rest on the album. Even though there is a language barrier, singer Mathias Bladh's passion and the band's music hold. I absolutely love it! As the opening track of the album this is a sign of a great thing to come. I always appreciated the indigenous vibes in Falconer's previous works. This time around the band states that Armod will pay homage more than before to their Swedish folk roots. This means lots of organic instrumental sounds as opposed to digital ones.

I've already got my clogs on. I'm ready for the June 7th release of Armod in the USA! Head over to Metal Blade's website to listen to Svarta Ãnkan and pre-order Armod.

    As a Scandinavian guy-person I can't help but have an urge to translate everything. Svarta Änkan means "Black Widow" and Armod is "poverty". There. Phew.
