ENTOMBED To Release Clandestine Live Album With An Orchestra And Choir

Original Entombed, with Hellid, Andersson, and Cederlund. Not Entombed A.D.

Original Entombed, with Hellid, Andersson, and Cederlund. Not Entombed A.D.

Entombed is back! Founding guitarists Alex Hellid and Ulf "Uffe" Cederlund, as well as founding drummer Nicke Andersson, have reunited to play Entombed's 1991 album Clandestine in its entirety this November. The concert will take place on November 12, with the first act being the album in full performed by the Malmö Symphony Orchestra and the aformentioned trio. The second act of the concert will be the trio (plus others?) performing the Clandestine as a metal band.

Entombed is not to be confused with Entombed A.D., which contains original vocalist L-G Petrov. To be even clearer, the vocals on Clandestine were not performed by Petrov, but performed by Andersson and Cederlund. So aside from the absence of bassist Lars Rosenberg, this is the real deal!

You can contribute/pre-order to the release of the double live album here, and check out some sweet footage of previous performances.
