Demon Hunter's 2014 album Extremist took me by surprise in a big way. I'd been a casual fan of the band up to that point, but Extremist was just track after track of really, really solid Demon Hunter material. Which is why I'm curious about the band's upcoming album – how are they going to top that?
The good news is that we get to find out, as the band has begun teasing a new record (we think)! The bad news is that if what you're seeing below is actually a piece of the artwork for the album, then the hashtag #DH2017 probably means we're not getting it this year… so that kind of sucks.
I'd wager that it's a new album, only because we know the band was recently in the studio.
