Just last week, Danzig teased he will be releasing a new album this year, his first in nearly seven years since 2010's Red Dead Sabaoth. Today, Danzig confirmed the album will be titled Black Laden Crown.
The album will be released in mid-May on Danzig's new Nuclear Blast imprint, Evilive Records. Here's the cover art:
Additionally, Danzig has announced a two day Blackest of the Black fest which promises "two days of non-stop music and mayhem taking place at Oak Canyon Park in Silverado, CA on May 26th and 27th." Announcements on lineup will be revealed shortly. Danzig once again confirmed a limited run of dates this summer celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Danzig III: How The Gods Kill album.
It's going to be a busy few months for Danzig.
