Breaking: TOOL Bassist Says New Album Is "In The Oven"

WHAT A MONUMENTAL UPDATE

WHAT A MONUMENTAL UPDATE

Talking about the new Tool album has almost become a joke. Earlier this year, there was an unconfirmed rumor that Tool was releasing a double album called Decem, only for Maynard James Keenan to call the rumors dumb. Officially, the band has said they are grinding away on the album four days a week, and that the shortest song is 12 minutes long.

Today, we have a massive new update for you from Tool bassist Justin Chancellor. In a new video for Top Guitar, the focus was mostly on gear (and can be viewed below). When asked about the status of the new record, Chancellor interrupted and gave this breaking development:

“Don’t ask that question… Just trust me that it’s going to be awesome. It’s in the oven. It’s cooking, it’s cooking."

Holy shit! It's in the oven!!!

CONFIRMED: Tool baking new album.

Ok, I'm exaggerating. It's not a major update, it's not breaking news. Tool are working on a new album and when they're done with it, it'll be released. Now somebody turn that oven off before we have a gas leak. Meanwhile, I'll watch these recently unearthed Tool live clips from the early '90s while enjoying Tool memes.
