Aptly titled Supersonic Years - The Seventies Singles Box Set.

Unless you're down to pay some seriously hefty prices, chances are you're not going to be able to acquire all of Black Sabbath's 7" singles throughout the seventies. Fortunately on June 8, you'll only have to spend $70 and you'll be in possession of quite a few!

Black Sabbath has announced their new box set Supersonic Years – The Seventies Singles Box Set, which includes 10 7" records with some rare tracks and edits you might not have heard before. All ten 7" records have been remastered by Andy Pierce, and all come in individual sleeves reflective of what release they contain. The box set also has a liner notes booklet that tells you all about the singles, as well as the history of heavy metal at the time.

Pre-order the box set here.

  • 7" Record #1: "Evil Woman (Don't Play Your Games With Me)" / "Wicked World" – 1970
  • 7" Record #2: "Paranoid" / "The Wizard" – 1970
  • 7" Record #3: "Iron Man (Single Edit)" / "Electric Funeral" – 1970
  • 7" Record #4: "Tomorrow's Dream" / "Laguna Sunrise" – 1972
  • 7" Record #5: "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath (Edited Version)" / "Changes" – 1973
  • 7" Record #6: "Am I Going Insane (Radio) (Single Edit)" / "Hole In The Sky" – 1975
  • 7" Record #7: "Gypsy" / "She's Gone" – 1976
  • 7" Record #8: "It's Alright" / "Rock 'N' Roll Doctor" – 1976
  • 7" Record #9: "Never Say Die" / "She's Gone" – 1978
  • 7" Record #10: "Hard Road (Single Edit)" / "Symptom Of The Universe (German Single Edit)" – 1978

I guess the label is still trying to recoup that $75,000 the band spent on cocaine in 1972.
