Augury released Concealed in 2004, Fragmentary Evidence in 2009, and then fell silent with intermittent promises of a new album. The band has now signed with The Artisan Era and has officially announced it'll be releasing a new album in Spring 2018. Considering Augury only released two albums and had such a profound effect on the technical death metal community, it's safe to say that this is a pretty big damn deal.
For those unfamiliar, August consists of bassist Dominic "Forest" Lapointe (ex-Beyond Creation, ex-Negativa), guitarist Mathieu Marcotte (ex-Spasme, Humanoid), vocalist and guitarist Patrick Loisel (ex-Foreshadow, ex-Kralizec), and drummer Antoine Bari (Contemplator, From Dying Suns).
