Akurion, the band who features ex-Cryptopsy vocalist Mike DiSalvo, current Cryptopsy bassist Oli Pinard, ex-Neuraxis drummer Tommy McKinnon, and current Neuraxis guitarist Rob Milley, is in the studio! We heard about Akurion about two years ago with the below song, but since then the group hasn't really been around much, likely given the busy schedule of Cryptopsy.
Even better, the album will feature guest spots from Lord Worm (ex-Cryptopsy), Luc Lemay (Gorguts) and Jean-Marie Leblanc (Vengeful). According to The PRP, the album is expected late this year.
