@wizdumb. WTF are you talking about? He didn't sell himself out to anyone. Do you even know what the term sell out even means? If Yngwie showed up wearing baggy jeans and corn rows and started rapping, that would be selling out. Or if he showed up in girl jeans and a flock of seagulls haircut and started playing emo for his next album, that would be selling out. Showing up and sitting in with a band and having a jam and promoting your new album (which probably sounds just like his last 10 albums), not selling out.
My question is why do metal fans seem to have their head up their asses when it come to music? once upon a time metal fans were the most open minded fans. now we are a bunch of crybabies who bitch if a band they like happens to make it on tv. isn't that the fucking goal, to make you band as big as you can? isn't trying to get yourself out in front of the media part of promoting your band? being on tv doesnt suddenly make good music bad. and being underground doesn't make bad music good. use your fucking brains and stop believing what people tell you.
