in my opinion, they don't give you a reason to pick up the new album. just listen to the ones you have and your set. i know it's only one song, but the cd will probably only have a couple kick ass songs, or riffs for that matter. i agree with goalie07, some bands can pull off sounding the same throughout all their cd's, but c'mon, they can't write outside the box just a little bit? all they've done was rewrite they're hits on every cd. mediocre at best, and it's a shame.
So this must be the "My Curse, My Last Serenade and Rose of Sharyn" song on the album, the soft cock song about love and/or loosing someone close.
Reckoning sounds epic and I'm hoping maybe some more "heavy" tracks that sound like their former years past. Fixation of the darkness and Life to Lifeless for example.
nice tune. I don't know why people criticize them for sounding similar on each release, I mean some of the most famous bands never change. Slayer and Judas Priest always sound similar...then again, they are Slayer and Judas Priest, can't really compare them too much here.
"Can we use some of the riffs from when we first beegaaaaann!!!!!" Should be in the chorus too. No big surprise, I new they would run out of content sooner of later.
