Far Beyond Innocence Since the end of 1990 Far Beyond Innocence have been an important part of the Austrian Metal scene. The band which was founded by guitar player “Godfather” and singer “Vermes”, plays frequently on the stages around Austria. Far Beyond Innocence know how to dash their songs into the crowd with passion and professionalism. Mosh pits, blast beats, groove parts, catchy hooks and riffs and aggressive shouts from “Vermes” and “Firefucker” let the audience go crazy.
The band was opener for many great bands such as Meshuggah, Biohazard, Sodom, Downset, Böhse Onkelz, Metal Church, Emil Bulls and many others. As all these bands are very different, one can see that Far Beyond Innocence can play with almost every Metal band. FBIs outfit and live appearance are unique and impressing.
All lyrics have been written by shouter “Vermes”. The songs deal with the contact of new media and socio-critical views. Many times the focus of the lyrics is on the carelessness of our society and the fascination for perverse and abnormal thoughts, which almost everybody has.
Over the years the band has built a hard core of faithful fans. With the new album, which was produced completly in their own studio, the band is ready to take off.
For now there are a lot of activities going on and Far Beyond Innocence are storming the stages again.
