Music:
Little bit of everything. My top two favorite styles would probably be death metal and experimental. I also love the classics like Ozzy, Pink Floyd, etc. Big fan of GOOD indie rock, I love anything that sounds different honestly. I've never been a fan of mainstream poppy stuff that MTV puts out(with the exception of bands like Nirvana, Pantera, etc... but that's when mainstream wasn't total shit like it is today). I think that pop and modern hardcore need to go. Today's pop is very similar to the horrible disco era we had in the 80's. Modern hardcore took everything great about hardcore punk and basically made it suck. Not a fan of it at all. Other than those two genres though, I'm very open minded and listen to just about everything.

Books:
Anything interesting and political. I'm very into the history and origins of religion, fascinating really. I also enjoy action novels as well and a Tom Clancy-esque novel now and then doesn't hurt either. Big fan of Michael Crichton as well.
