Sick Drummer Magazine and Metal Injection present: The Blast Off drum competition. Blast Off is the world's first online drumming competition exclusively for metal drummers, judged by metal drummers. Contestants will create a video and upload it right here.
This contest will be judged by the staff of Sick Drummer magazine They will be judging on dynamics, ease of motion, beat transition, creativity, blast speed, blast consistency (or meter), foot speed, foot consistency (or meter). The contest will be split in two divisions: Signed or Unsigned. Anyone can enter.
Prizes include a new set of Trick Dominator double bass pedals, a set of Sabian cymbals (courtesy of Seventh Void) and a gift package from Nuclear Blast Records.The second place winner in each division will be featured in Sick Drummer Magazine and on MetalInjection.net! .
