The AT THE GATES set list you can expect on their U.S. tour (w/video)

So the Metal Injection crew just got back from seeing AT THE F'N GATES completely destroy Irving Plaza in NYC. I could write a long winded review…or I could just give you video proof:

Yes, the crowd was that loud for the intro! It was deafening! An awesome night overall! Anyway, it turns out the band pretty much played the same exact set list as the night before, so theres a good chance this will be the set list for the whole tour:

16. Blinded By Fear
17. Kingdom Gone

The band did not play Kingdom Gone the first night. They pulled it out tonight because, as vocalist Tomas Lindberg put it "we deserved it." Hell yea! The crowd was pretty nuts, much more so than last night. I could go on and on about how great the show was but I think I should go to sleep.

    Went to the show in Worcester last night and was completely floored. AtG lived up to every lofty expectation I had. From the opening 'Go!' of "Slaughter of the Soul" to the closing notes of "Kingdom Gone" AtG laid waste to a list of their greatest hits (see above). I wrote the set list on a napkin from memory after the gig and it matches MI's list so I think I'm good. The only song they didn't air from 'Slaughter of the Soul' was "Unto Others" but I listened to it this morning and I keep having flashbacks of hearing the opening riff.

    At any rate, this tour should be required viewing/listening for any metalhead who wants to know where this melodic death metal movement started. At The Gates are the original O.G.'s and ya'll best recognize.

    Just saw them tonight. They Fucking killed it and played a killer set.I was really hoping they would play Primal Breath or Neverwhere or Blood of the sunsets. Still a great show.
