Tour dates are starting to trickle in for the Metal Injection-sponsored 2009 SUMMER SLAUGHTER Tour. Here are the first round of dates:

I think I was a little more stoked for last years because Aborted and so many other badass bands were on it. It is going to be brutal seeing Origin, Necrophagist, SUFFOCATION!!!, and Dying Fetus though. Plus Ive never seen a Pagan band before so that should be something. Haha.

Dude NC for the win. Why is Ensiferum on there? Like, they're one of my favorite bands, but it seems like they stick out quite a bit from the others…

Ill be at the Jacksonville show.
They'll never top the first tour in 07, though. I'll never forget when As Blood Run Black started some probably 19 year old kid was hardcore dancing and kicked this biiig dude, who then turned around and smashed a beer bottle over the kids face. The EMTs had to carry the kid out. And because of this, NO ONE danced for ABRBs set at all. Then once Cattle Decap came on ALL the hardcore kids flocked to the bottom of the Masquerade like pussies. Absolutely priceless.
There's more dates posted on their official site, or myspace I can't remember. Maybe more people will be able to go, there's 2 dates super close to me so i'm not sure which I'll be going to.
