Metal Injection

Woah! The last time we heard from Soundgarden, the band said they started writing a new record, their first new material in 15 years. The band has announced they will take a break in July to do some touring. There have been three US dates, and one Canadian date announced so far, with more being promised. Holy shit, I may actually get to see Soundgarden? This is very exciting. Here are the dates so far:

7/13/11 Philadelphia, PA @ Festival Pier at Penn's Landing
7/18/11 Denver, CO @ Red Rocks Amphitheatre
7/22/11 Los Angeles, CA @ The Forum

The pre-sale for the Soundgarden fan club members happens on April 18. Tickets for the Denver show go on sale to April 22nd, and Toronto, Philadelphia and Los Angeles tickets go on sale on April 23rd.
