Wow, Riot Fest is pulling out all the stops. Yesterday, they announced their initial lineup of bands and it was a lot of bands, one that definitely stuck out to us was Gwar.
Today, the festival doubled down on their 10th anniversary announcement, declaring that in celebration of doing the fest for 10 years, they've convinced 10 bands to play their most essential album in full at the fest.
Ok, so Weezer is playing the Blue Album, NOFX is playing Punk In Drublic, Jane's Addiction is playing Nothing's Shocking, The Offspring is playing Smash, Samhain is seemingly reuniting to play Initium, we also have the Get Up Kids, Naked Raygun and the Descendents but the thing that stuck out to me, a metalhead is FN SLAYER PLAYING FN REIGN IN BLOOD IN FULL!!!
Reign In Blood holds a very special place in my heart, as cliché as it sounds, because it was the first truly metal album I got into. I am considering hopping on a plane to see this.
