SCION ROCK FEST 2012 Announced First Round of Bands (SLEEP, DECAPITATED, TERROR & more)

Scion Rock Fest 2012

Just as we finished posting about the rumors for the date and location of this year's Scion Rock Fest yesterday, the Scion people officially confirmed it. Today, they announce the first round of bands, and the first word that comes to mind is diverse. I mean look at the bands in the headline… Sleep, Decapitated and Terror. Three bands that have very little in common sonically, yet somehow it works. It seems as though half of the bands have been announced and they are: 

Sleep,
Repulsion,
Merzbow,
Church of Misery,
Psychic TV,
Oxbow,
Decapitated,
Terror,
Cerebral Ballzy,
All Pigs Must Die,
Ides of Gemini,
Cellgraft

The show is FREE (with RSVP) on June 2nd at the Ritz theater, in Tampa FL. More info can be found here.
