Jason Newsted recently revealed his new acoustic project Would And Steal, though if this announcement is any indication, the band's name is now Jason Newsted And The Chophouse Band. Though numerous outlets have made the comment that it is at least somewhat possible the two projects could be unrelated, it doesn't seem likely.
Assuming Would And Steal is now Jason Newsted And The Chophouse Band, you can see the latter on the road this September on the East Coast. Check out the band's first performance below, which comes as a cover of "This Land Is Your Land." Not quite aggressive, but Newsted is enjoying himself and that's really all that matters.
