Last year GWAR played host to 700 people in what they considered a small house party in their hometown of Richmond, Virginia. The news of this BBQ Party was spread only by word of mouth, and went down in Virginia history as the biggest happening since the birth of Georgia Washington. Well this year GWAR has decided to let everyone in on the bash, and make it bigger, much bigger.
The 2011 GWAR-B-QUE will host thousands, and supply Richmond's finest BBQ Vendors, independent art from VCU students, tattoo artists, skate ramps, and of course lots of live music. The party goes down August 27th, and they were even nice enough to set up a dedicated website (with countdown) for the event.
