GOJIRA unleash headlining North America tour
- Posted on March 17, 2009

Prepare for the imminent destruction of the cities listed below. That's right, after spending the past few stateside runs opening for LAMB OF GOD, BEHEMOTH and IN FLAMES, it looks like there's no one left willing to follow GOJIRA onstage. Metal's former best-kept-secret is finally taking the headlining jaunt that they've long deserved, and if you don't know what they've done to earn it, you obviously ignored just about every single "Best of '08" metal list and/or boycott all environmentalists. Neither reason being a decent excuse to miss out on the tour or the "Vacuity" video after the jump

I love gojira (their music, anyway), but did they really have to go on a tour with those things? I wonder how many people aren't gonna show up until gojira goes on!!!
I missed them last time they came around… going to this for sure.
Hmm, don't know the opening bands, and they are playing Logan Square in Chicago…Saw Rotting Christ there and the sound is absolutely horrible. Its basically an old basketball court(Seriously, its got the wood floors and everything) with a stage on one end.
