A few weeks ago, American Head Charge keyboardist Justin Fowler posted a cryptic message that bassist Chad Hanks was facing a terminal illness. Fowler noted “Chad is planning the final exit from the stage of life. No encores.” He quickly deleted the post, so we didn't report on it at the time, giving Hanks and his family some privacy.
Unfortunately, the illness took Hanks' life this past weekend. He was only 46 years old at the time. Hanks' wishes were to keep the details of his illness private and his family is respecting those wishes.
