Anal C*nt have been an inactive band since the death of their frontman Seth Putnam a few years ago, (which was followed by so many touching tributes).
Guitarist Josh Martin was still able to make headlines late last year, when he heckled Gene Simmons so hard that Gene actually left the stage to try to find him and fight him. Sadly, Martin passed after falling off an escalator this weekend.
WPRI reports:
According to Providence police, the 45-year-old fell off an escalator from the upper level to the food court area around 10:45 p.m., sustaining severe head trauma. He later died from his injuries.
Officials said the incident appears to be completely accidental and there is no indication that the victim intentionally jumped or was pushed. Police are reviewing surveillance footage of the incident as they continue to investigate.
While the report does not cite Martin as the victim, Vanyaland was able to confirm from friends and family that it was him who tragically passed.
The story notes that a woman died from falling off the same escalator in 2004 and that a man was injured falling off the escalator in 2009.
